Is Batman a Super Hero or just a Hero?

I believe Batman does have super powers. If you read the Batman handbook he majored in 9+ areas including criminology, science, chemistry, etc. The guy is a genius not only with his mind but also with his physical abilities. He's also a significant character in JLA and also much more super than the Flash. And the Flash would be considered a Super Hero. His scar from his past leaves him with the super power.

He probably falls into the "hyper-competent" category. This defines people who are not super-human physically, but are unrealistically intelligent and/or lucky. Sherlock Holmes, Ender (Ender's Game), Kvothe (Kingkiller Chronicles) are examples of this type of hero.

Brilliant Model Animation Films

There have been many model animation films over the years and this is not to be confused with the more used stop animation. Model animation is actually a form of stop motion animation but it is out there to push both humans and and animation together. Andthe best ones out there are?

King Kong 1933

It is a pretty well known fact that many directors including Peter Jackson got into the industry because of this film. The model from this film is one of the most famous because the model is worth so much money. It was actually inducted into the United States National Film Registry.

Song of Kong 1933

Amazingly this sequel was released in the same year to the first movie. (Couldn’t do that now) The creators knew that they were not going to be able to match the success of the original film so they tried to make it a bit more amusing which they did. It was a success without a doubt and it was combination of both of these films that inspired the 22 Godzilla films.

James and the Giant Peach

This was of course the film that was based upon the 1961 novel by Roald Dahl. This movie was directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton, it was Burton who came up with the entire idea but was tied down by Batman. This is just one of those films that shows off how animation can so easily be put into real life instances. This film met so many good reivews but it never seemed to make a profit.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

This one is stop motion which is why it is not included on the main list but I had to include it because in my opinion it is the best stop motion movie of all time and it made around $50 million on its first run and made even more the second time it was released under the Disney name this time rather than the Disney owned touchstone.
